Research mentorship

Build research experience with a mentor beside you.

Join a project that fits your skills, interests, and time. Review the expectations before applying, then contribute to real research through the agreed work.

Signup is free. Stage fees apply. Publication is not guaranteed. Authorship requires meeting all four ICMJE criteria.

Your contribution has a place.

  1. Create your account
  2. Review private project details
  3. Apply for a suitable stage
  4. Begin after approval and payment

Project ideas stay within registered access.

A scope that fits the work.

  • Check the fit before applying

Review the required skills, workload, mentor support, stage fee, currency, and applicable terms inside your account.

  • Contribute, learn, and respond to feedback

Participation involves work. Mentor guidance supports your contribution; a fee does not purchase authorship or a journal acceptance.

  • Keep unpublished ideas protected

Project details are available after signup to help protect unpublished research ideas. Access does not replace the project's confidentiality responsibilities.

Questions before you begin.

Can I browse project ideas publicly?
Project details are kept within registered access. The public page explains participation without exposing unpublished questions.
Are article processing charges covered?
Yes. APCs are covered when a paper is accepted in a well-indexed Q1 or Q2 journal. If it is instead accepted in a lower-tier journal, the APC is shared among all members of the project team. Our publications to date have been predominantly in Q1 journals, with a small number in Q2.
