What the platform is

The Research Mentorship Platform is a marketplace where verified research mentors publish stage-based research projects and medical students and residents pay to join a specific stage, do real supervised work, and earn documented contribution logs, verifiable certificates, and co-authorship when their contribution meets the four ICMJE criteria.

The platform also sells fixed-price consulting listings, such as advisory calls and methodology sprints, fulfilled by the platform team.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials to yourself. One account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend accounts that violate the integrity rules below, attempt to move transactions off the platform to evade them, or abuse other users.

Payments and VAT

Stage prices are set in Saudi riyals (SAR). Saudi VAT of 15 percent is computed on the VAT-exclusive price and shown as a separate line at checkout; displayed prices are VAT-inclusive with the VAT noted.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Manual Saudi bank transfer is also supported: you receive the IBAN and exact amount, upload your transfer receipt, and your seat is reserved when the team confirms the transfer.

Consulting listings are priced in Canadian dollars (CAD) and processed by card through the same checkout.

Refunds

Refunds follow the published refund policy: full refund while no work has been logged on your enrollment, and partial or no refund after work is logged, decided with a documented reason. See the refund policy page for the complete rules. If you are a no-show for more than one scheduled session, you are not eligible for a refund.

Research integrity

No ghostwriting: no deliverable is ever written for a student. No paid or gift authorship: authorship requires all four ICMJE criteria, logged by the mentor. Certificates state actual contributions only.

The platform may suspend any project or account that frames the service as buying a paper or an authorship position.

Certificates

Certificates document the stages you completed and the contributions your mentor logged. Each carries a unique verification code and a public verification page. Certificates found to rest on falsified work can be revoked, with the reason recorded.

Merchant identity

The platform is operated by Health Research Accelerator, a Canadian company. Payment references on your card or bank statement may show the operator name.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Material changes are announced on this page with the date of change, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
